An eternity pendant
What we started with
We have remodelled for this customer on multiple occasions. Her dad passed away a few years ago, so she brought us his signet ring along with some other old bits and pieces. She came back to us again with some more pieces, including an eternity ring that her husband had bought her after their two children were born, which was unfortunately just sitting in a drawer.
What we created
With her dad’s gold, we made a fitted band to sit beside a diamond ring that she already had. We also used her gold to make a solid gold bangle. For the eternity ring, we went through lots of different design options, and ultimately settled on a pendant that would show off the diamonds nicely. We also reset her diamonds into a beautiful platinum band! We’ll let our customer tell you all about them –
‘ I was so happy – the gold band is stunning, it fits around my diamond ring perfectly, it’s unique, it’s contemporary, and even in its simplicity, there’s a cleverness in it – it shows off my diamond ring perfectly but it’s a lovely piece of jewellery in its own right. And most importantly it is Dad’s and I love that it gets to be worn, and passed down through the generations and doesn’t sit in a drawer or worse get lost. The bangle as well is exactly what I wanted – it’s classic, it’s simple but wearable, durable, contemporary and gorgeous! I love my pendant, it’s bespoke, the diamonds are showcased, it’s a lovely oval shape and I wear it every day now, rather than occasionally.’
