BOOK KEEPER AND OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

FLEXI-TIME | 16 HOURS PER WEEK

As our shop and website are getting busier and busier, we are on the lookout for a bookkeeper and office administrator to rise to the challenge of joining our team.

We are a warm and friendly team, who work hard but have fun doing so! We are looking for someone who is detail orientated, organised and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
    • Posting supplier invoices, matching with delivery dockets and dealing with discrepancies
    • Posting receipts to sales ledger
    • Managing bank reconciliations
    • Managing petty cash
    • Making weekly cash lodgements
    • Processing payroll
    • Preparing VAT returns and posting in ROS
    • Liaising with external accountant to prepare year end accounts
    • Supporting sales and workshop team with administration as required
    • Ensure compliance with data protection, maintaining confidentiality and following Stonechat Jewellers’ policies and procedures at all times
We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:
    • Great organisational skills, a calm manner and a gift for multitasking
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute data entry with high proficiency
    • Strong business acumen with a commercial outlook
    • A quick learner – in-house training will be provided as necessary
Key Skills:
    • Strong IT skills including familiarity with software such as Excel, Sage and ROS
    • Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, PRSI and Online Banking
Requirements:
    • 2 – 3 years of relevant bookkeeping/admin experience
    • Fluent English
