RECENT COMMISSIONS
Bespoke jewellery is wonderful – each commissioned project is unique as it captures the customer’s original ideas and thoughts and combines them with contemporary design. We have chosen some of our favourite pieces to give you an insight into the range of possibilities. More images can be seen in our page of bespoke images.

ACORN PINS
A longstanding customer contacted us about a special project she had in mind - she wanted to give a piece of jewellery to all of her staff members to commemorate someone who had touched all of their lives and had recently passed away. As the acorn was a significant symbol within their company, we used it as the basis for the design and sketched some ideas. She confirmed which one caught her eye the most, and we made 24 silver acorn pins for her.
They were beautifully simple and understated in design but captured details that were very important for our customer and all the recipients. We, and she, were delighted with the end result.
ZIRCON RING
While a large percentage of our bespoke designs are made in our in-house workshop, we also collaborate with other designers when we feel the piece is more suited to their style or expertise. This beautiful Zircon ring is a perfect example of this scenario!
Made by Irish designer Michael O'Dwyer, who is renowned for his vast knowledge of coloured gemstones and his precision diamond setting, this ring was a wonderful project to manage. While Michael was with us for an in-store event, he showed our customer his extensive gemstone collection, from which she chose this rich and elegant gemstone. The ring was then designed to suit the stone, while bearing in mind the customer’s requirements and what would look wonderful on her hand - and what a ring it is!
CONTEMPORARY 5 STONE RING
We were asked to design a 5 stone ring using sapphires and diamonds. The ring needed to be very simple and have a contemporary feel to it. After a number of sketches, our customer chose a simple ring with 5 bezel settings.
We then drew the design in computer aided design (CAD) which allowed us to show her a 3D render, giving a complete understanding of the scale of the piece and the gemstones involved. The ring was then made in 18ct white gold using beautifully rich blue sapphires and white diamonds – pared back, and yet so striking!
